Join Us in Cultivating the Next Generation of Dreamers!

"I Have A Dream" Foundation-New Jersey provides comprehensive wraparound support to NJ youth (known as Dreamers) from K through career. We are unique in our long-term, in-depth approach, providing services and programming that targets and supports the ever-changing developmental needs of our Dreamers and their families. We meet our Dreamers where they are and, through an individualized approach, we support their academic, physical, and emotional well being.

When you support our organization's year-end giving campaign, you're helping us further our mission to provide under-served youth access to critical resources and to a network that will support them to and through college. Graduates of cohort one (which began in 2006) continue to experience the support and reach of our local and national network. Our team maintains contact with these students and provides opportunities for continued personal development and career success. Dreamers that choose to attend college out of state are paired with the local "I Have A Dream" affiliate in that area, in addition to receiving continued support from home.

Your gift will help us reach our goal of cultivating the next generation of Dreamers at the Thirteenth Avenue/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School in Newark. Our team has been working with the school's administrators, students and parents, since early 2018, providing academic enrichment and professional support as we worked to understand the needs of the school and the ways that we could best support.
